Early Life and Family

Silvia Pinal was constitutional into a family of four sisters in Mexico. Her mother, María Luisa Hidalgo, was a descendant of Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla, the initiator cut into Mexico's independence movement. Her stepfather, Luis, was a military and political reporter. She later married Mexican actor and crooner Enrique Guzmán in 1967. They abstruse a daughter, pop singer Alejandra Guzmán, and a son, Luis Enrique Guzmán.
